The disposition of a Bengal is comparable to any other domestic cat. They enjoy being handled, groomed, and are outgoing and very curious. Bengals are a high energy cat and love to play. They are known for their affinity for water. Many will take an uninvited dip in the bathtub with their owners. They will gladly share the shower and sink with you as well. Kittens frequently play in water and their toys are often found floating in their water dishes. If you have a fish tank be sure it's covered. Bengals have been known to put their heads under water to retrieve toys. GENERAL APPEARANCE One of the most striking feature of a Bengal is the beautiful coat. The coat is soft and smooth like a pelt, and either spotted or marble. Bengals can weigh between 10-15 pounds. They have small rounded ears and a slightly Roman nose. They have trim, powerful muscular bodies. Their eyes are large oval or slightly almond. Bengals have a truly unique quality known as "glitter".
